Soviet History

my assignment in econ111 is not only impossible (im relying on my wondrous writing prowess to make things happen haha), it's driving me crazy. ms tuvera wanted us to submit a paper about the brief history of the ussr, from its rise to its dissolution in the 1990's...

so i was surfing wikipedia, tap type tap, searching searching lots of russian names i cant even pronounce. my teacher gave keypoints that we should include in our paper... there were ten, but wiki doesnt give you just ten... while you're reading, you stumble upon a chain of links which open up to other stories that you couldn't possibly include in your paper... why? because she wants the paper to be brief, which means we have to collapse the whole history of the soviet union into one single page, and wiki is offering you virtually a book-long narrative of the communist nation's history...

all the while i was doing my assignment, a question was nagging my brain: could you ever write a BRIEF history of the ussr? i dont think the best historian/writer can. not by sticking to monumental history and taking into consideration the important hallmarks of the timeline, and definitely not with only one page to write on, with font size not smaller than 8 vertical pixel units.

Lord give me the power to command words. they are being hard to manage these past few days. or maybe it's just my wernicke's area not functioning well. did you know that word recognition is associated with speech...?

wala never mind.

anyways we went to the derma this afternoon... mejo scary yung ginawa sakin dun, takot kasi ako sa needles at sa turok... anyways buti hindi ako nagfaint ulit, kasi the last time i was there for my botox injections, i fainted, haha... oh well.

sinunog nung skin-person ung warts at skin lessions sa fingers ko. meron syang weird apparatus, parang drill na may thin film of hot metal sa dulo tas un ung ginamit na pangburn nung lessions. but i didnt feel a thing kasi homer injected a lot of anesthesia on my hand kasi nga daw ung last time, parang nararamdaman ko pa din ung pain kaya ako nagfaint haha.

anyways hindi ko napityuran ung mismong sinusunog ung warts, kesyo delicate operation daw whatever. ewan, pretty ung nurse kaya lang may asawa na. tsk.

this was my hand after they injected the anesthesia... bloated fingers, haha, nakkatawa talaga ung fingers ko kasi parang na off proportion sila hahaha nung ni-render ung drugs.


eto na ung fingers ko nung after iburn ung warts. puno ng bandages at hindi ko sila magalaw.

so the bandages and the left-over anesthesia are preventing me from typing properly. tsk, panu na pag nagwear off na ung anesthesia, sasakit na. huhu.
